A mechanical engineer, Mr Satyanarayan Mandal retired from service in the railways in 1993. Throughout his life he actively participated in social service as a Regional member and other capacities from Bihar of the Radhasoami Satang Association, Agra along with his job in the railways. He firmly believes that living simply and spiritually itself is sustainable living; and that all professions should be for serving the society.

Ar. Neelam Manjunath, a science and architecture graduate with PG Dip in Theology, is an architect, planner, scientist, activist and theoretician. She is practicing in Bangalore under the name Manasaram Architects since 1994 and has close to 30 years of experience in the field of Sustainable Architecture and Technologies. Her passion for sustainable architecture and development reflects in all her works of architecture. Her architecture is distinguished for the use of low energy materials and technologies with special emphasis on Bamboo.
She has won several national and International awards for her works. Her work has been published widely in over 10 languages in over 19-20 countries. She has presented her works and research papers in close to 30 national and international forums and conferences.
A champion of resource equity on this planet and brotherhood of man , she founded CGBMT with the aim of awareness building and providing Eco-education to the common man at all levels to promote Sustainable living which in her opinion is a pre-requisite for mitigation of Global warming.

A Science graduate with post graduation in Computer Applications, Guru Dayal is a competent, diligent, result oriented Green building professional, Bamboo expert and administrator with close to 20 years of rich experience across Project Execution, site management, quality management, cross- functional coordination and planning in India and abroad.
One of the few professionals in the field of Bamboo –Mud based building construction and sustainable services in the country, he has conducted close to 50 sustainable building workshops all over the world.
He has worked with Manasaram and CIBART and has been associated with CGBMT from its inception in all its programs. He also has experience in the field of micro-finance which he wishes to link with affordable housing programs in India.

A mathmatics graduate and textile designer, Kamini is an established Madhubani artist . She is highly motivated and flexible , with a diverse range of experiences . She has keen interest in empowering women and specially abled people ,and has been working in the direction for a long time . She has conducted several workshops for women and children in art, printing, product making , painting, cultural education etc.
She has been actively associated with CGBMT in conducting all our programs since 2005.

Aakanksha has an IB Diploma and is currently pursuing BA in International Studies (Class of 2016) from Leiden University in the Hague. She has also attended courses in Economics from Brown University and in Citizenship from Harvard Extension School. She attended the Leadership Ambassador- People to People Leadership Summit at Harvard University and attended a NASA space program in Huntsville, Alabama. She has been actively participating all the CGBMT programs since its inception and connecting it a wide audience.
She has participated in over 10 Model United Nations programs between 2009-2014 in India and abroad. She has been writing and been on the editorial board for her schools and university newspapers and yearbook consistently. She has interned at Habitat for Humanity, Bangalore, India, the Indian Embassy inThe Hague and the Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy in Bangalore.
A home maker always keen working for empowerment of women and on sharing traditional knowledge .She started a Mahila Association in 1973 with a small capital to train the womenfolk in tailoring, embroidery, cooking, knitting etc to empower them to generate additional income for their homes in Bihar. She inspired several of them to study further and also send their daughters for higher education. She believed in starting to change your surroundings to effect large scale changes in the world.
